How to recognize this tactic
In Chess960 the pieces start on unfamiliar squares, so tactics appear earlier and from unusual angles. Do not trust classical patterns — read the actual lines of the bishops, the rooks and the queen from where they really stand in this position.
Early Chess960 traps punish natural but careless development. Look for a forcing move that exploits a piece the opponent has just placed on a poor square — a fork, a pin or a threat that wins material before either side is fully developed.
A mate in one hides among forcing checks. Run through every check you can give: does it cover all the king's escape squares, is the checking piece safe or supported, and can nothing block or capture it? If yes, that is the mate.
General method: before you move, list the forcing candidates — every check, every capture, every direct threat — and calculate those first. The solution to a tactic is almost always among them.

White keeps 8 pawns, Black 7. No file is fully open, so the heavy pieces have to be pried in.

肩章杀：国王站在自己两个棋子中间，像戴肩章的军官——最常见的是两侧的双车。两旁的格子被自己人占据，身后无路可退——后从正面贴脸将杀。识别特征：国王在边线横排上，同排两侧的相邻格都被己方棋子占据。请记住：紧贴国王的多余保镖，有时比没有保镖更致命。
皇后突袭
皇后从怪异的初始格杀出，趁防守尚未成形。
早出的后：从不寻常的初始格上，后趁防线尚未筑起就杀入战局。在古典棋里后过早出动会受惩罚，可在 Chess960 中她有时打的是根本没人能防的格子。识别特征：后一两步就够到敌王附近无保护的兵或棋子。先确认后不会被人带着节奏赶跑——否则这次奔袭只是浪费时间。
一步杀
一步将杀——把它找出来。
一步杀：组合已经落幕，只剩最后一发精准的子弹。方法很简单——列出你所有的将军，对每一个检验国王的三条生路：逃跑、垫挡、吃掉将军者。三条都行不通，那就是将杀。典型错误是爱上找到的第一个将军，漏掉那扇唯一的逃生小窗。
关于这个局面
这些棋子来自起始局面 #32。
SP-32 · RampartGuard — 国王位于 b 或 g 线，两只马都在内侧线 (b–g)。
王起始于 g1，两车在 f1 与 h1，后在 e1。
王已经站在易位后的格子上，所以短易位只动车：由 h1 到 f1。

g2 的兵只有王在保护——正是古典开局中 f2 那样的弱点。
