How to recognize this tactic
A discovered attack fires when one piece steps aside and unmasks the piece behind it. Look for your own units that block a rook, bishop or queen: moving the front piece — ideally with a threat of its own — springs two attacks in one move.
General method: before you move, list the forcing candidates — every check, every capture, every direct threat — and calculate those first. The solution to a tactic is almost always among them.

轻子残局：盘上只剩象、马和兵，几何决定一切。象喜欢开放的棋盘和两翼作战，马喜欢固定的兵和支撑点。看看兵都站在什么颜色的格子上，马来不来得及赶到关键区域。实用建议：对付马就把战火引向两翼——短腿跑不过来。
突破
弃兵撕开兵链，让通路兵冲出去。
突破：一次兵的牺牲撕开对方兵链，制造出无法阻挡的通路兵。到兵与兵顶死的地方寻找它：常常是送掉两个兵，让第三个溜过去。核对方格：对方的王追不追得上新通路兵——追不上就大胆牺牲。错误做法是在敌王就站在旁边、能通吃一切时强行突破。
