How to recognize this tactic
A fork is one piece attacking two targets at once. Look for a knight, pawn or queen move that lands where it hits the king (or a bigger piece) and a second undefended unit on the same turn — the opponent can save only one.
General method: before you move, list the forcing candidates — every check, every capture, every direct threat — and calculate those first. The solution to a tactic is almost always among them.

简化是兑现优势的技术：兑掉后和车，你就掐灭了对方的反扑，把对局引入赢定的残局。规则简单：子力占优的一方兑子，但保兵。当子力已经赢到手、对手还在虚张声势时，就去找兑换。错误做法是回避兑后，任由对手用没完没了的威胁搅浑水。
得利交换
在同一格上的一连串强制吃子，最后是你占便宜。
有利兑换：在同一格上进行强制的连环吃子，收尾时你多出子力。一切靠算术：数清该格的攻击者与防守者，记住吃子队列里每个棋子的价值。按正确顺序吃——先便宜的，后贵的，否则赚的买卖会变成亏本。典型错误是算到一半就停手，漏掉对方最后一次回吃。
