How to recognize this tactic
In Chess960 the pieces start on unfamiliar squares, so tactics appear earlier and from unusual angles. Do not trust classical patterns — read the actual lines of the bishops, the rooks and the queen from where they really stand in this position.
From some Chess960 setups a bishop or queen rakes a long diagonal straight from move one. Trace those long-range lines into the enemy camp: a single opened file or diagonal can create an immediate pin, skewer or mating threat.
This position hides a concrete tactic that wins material or mates. Start with the most forcing candidate moves — checks, captures and threats — and calculate each to a clear end before choosing; the winning line is usually the one the opponent cannot meet.
General method: before you move, list the forcing candidates — every check, every capture, every direct threat — and calculate those first. The solution to a tactic is almost always among them.

長距離のオープニング。ビショップ、ルーク、クイーンが初期配置のエリアから盤全体を貫いて撃つのです。Chess960では長距離駒が見慣れないマスに座っており、たった一手のポーン突きが敵陣の奥深くまで届く射線を開くことがあります。序盤では、敵味方すべての長距離駒の斜線とファイルを目でなぞりましょう。過ちは、いま自分がどちらの線を開けているのかを確認せずにポーンを突くことです。
早めのクイーン

早繰りのクイーン。変則的な初期マスから、まだ防御が形になる前にクイーンが戦場へ乱入します。クラシカルチェスなら早期のクイーン出動は罰を受けますが、Chess960では、文字どおり誰にも守れないマスを叩けることがあるのです。目印は、一、二手でクイーンが敵キング付近の守られていないポーンや駒に届くこと。まず、テンポつきでクイーンが追い払われないかを確認しましょう。さもなければ、その奇襲はただの時間の浪費です。
