How to recognize this tactic
A fork is one piece attacking two targets at once. Look for a knight, pawn or queen move that lands where it hits the king (or a bigger piece) and a second undefended unit on the same turn — the opponent can save only one.
General method: before you move, list the forcing candidates — every check, every capture, every direct threat — and calculate those first. The solution to a tactic is almost always among them.

王手ラッシュ
一手一手がすべて王手——キングを負けの地へ追い立てます。
チェックの連打では、あなたの手がすべてチェックとなり、相手には自分の計画のための一秒も与えられません。キングは盤上を追い立てられ、やがて駒を失うか決定的な一撃に飛び込みます。こうした変化は最も計算しやすいものです。各チェックへの応手はほんの数通りしかないので、すべて試せばよいのです。鋭い局面の計算はチェックから始める習慣をつけましょう。チェックは盤上で最も強制力のある手なのですから。
