How to recognize this tactic
A discovered attack fires when one piece steps aside and unmasks the piece behind it. Look for your own units that block a rook, bishop or queen: moving the front piece — ideally with a threat of its own — springs two attacks in one move.
General method: before you move, list the forcing candidates — every check, every capture, every direct threat — and calculate those first. The solution to a tactic is almost always among them.

他の手はすべて負け——持ちこたえる唯一の手を見つけてください。
オンリームーブとは、ただ一つの継続手を除いてすべてが負けになる局面のことです。ここで「手なり」に指してはいけません。原理的に異なる防御を一通り試すのです。逃げる、遮る、交換する、反撃する。そして反駁されるものを捨てていきます。この種の問題の特徴は、自然な手がすぐに負け、正解がしばしば奇妙に見えることです。まず、何に脅かされているのかを正確に理解しましょう。そうすれば、唯一の受けはおのずと姿を現します。
